General information:

• To rent a vehicle, it is necessary to have a driver's license and at least a year of experience in driving.
• The vehicle can be used by another person, but in that case that person must be indicated on the contract as an additional driver.
• Driving off-road is not allowed.
• Smoking in the car is not allowed.
• Entering the vehicle in wet bathing suits not allowed. In case of traces of salt on the seats, the agency reserves the right to charge €50 for deep cleaning of the seats.

Contract sample:

Oss Tours d.o.o. - hereinafter referred to as "lessor"

A natural or legal person, who or on whose behalf the vehicle is rented - hereinafter referred to as "lessee"

• The lessor obliges to rent out only cars that passed Inspection of vehicles for safety, performance and roadworthiness with all the equipment and documents that are a mandatory part of the vehicle's equipment according to the Croatian regulations and laws, and with a full fuel tank unless stated differently.
• The lessee is obliged to present an identification document when picking up the vehicle, and the lessor is authorized to keep it until the vehicle is returned, as a guarantee that the vehicle will be returned.
• The lessee obliges that he will not change any parts of the vehicle.
• The lessee is obliged to pay the lessor the agreed amount for the rental. In general, this is to happen when picking up the vehicle, unless otherwise agreed by mutual agreement.
• If the lessee does not return the vehicle within the agreed period of rental, he is obliged to pay the lessor an additional fee in the maximum amount of the daily rental price. The contract can be extended only based on the agreement between the lessor and the lessee.
• The lessee is obliged to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel (unless otherwise agreed by mutual agreement), otherwise he is obliged to pay the lessor the estimated amount for fuel compensation based on the prices of the Croatian oil company INA on the day of the return of a car.
• The lessee is obliged to keep the vehicle clean, otherwise the agency reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee.
• The lessee is obliged to pay all fines for illegal parking, speeding or any other violations in case there are any during the rental period. This can be done directly with the issuer of the fine or, in exceptional cases and by agreement, at the agency.
• The lessor confirms that the car has a basic automobile liability insurance policy.
• In case of damage to the car, the lessee is obliged to inform the lessor about it in a timely manner.
• The lessee is obliged to return the vehicle in the condition in which he received it, otherwise the lessor reserves the right to charge the lessee for any damage caused on the vehicle in the amount of up to €1,000.00. (Maximum amount of damage that can be charged)
